Mushroom Gummies – Are They Safe?

Categories:

Mushroom Gummies are a great way to enjoy the benefits of mushrooms without experiencing the “trippy” effects that can occur with consumption. These gummies are ideal for wellness and microdosing, making them a safe and convenient alternative to smoking or consuming capsules.

These gummies are carefully dosed to ensure a controlled and consistent experience every time you take them. They are also resealable to keep them fresh and protected from light. They can be stored anywhere, even in the refrigerator.

Mushroom Gummies vs. Capsules: Which Is Better

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) — “Mushroom gummies” are being sold in gas stations and smoke shops, but they’re also making people sick. Five people, including a child, have been treated at hospitals across Virginia after eating the gummies that list the psychedelic mushroom Amanita muscaria as an ingredient. The UVA Poison Center has tested gummies from five different brands, and found three of them contain psilocin or psilocybin, which are psychedelic drugs illegal to sell under state law. They also contained stimulants like ephedrine and the plant kratom, which can have opioid-like effects.

Ybor City magician Antwan Towner, 40, says he takes one of these gummies when he needs an extra boost of energy or to overcome anxiety. He says it only takes about four hours to produce a feeling of euphoria and heightened awareness. But he warns others to start slowly — just half a gummy for beginners, and up to seven for experienced users. It’s important to remember that these gummies do not work the same as other supplements, and it can be difficult to gauge how much you’ve taken when they’re in your system.
